Timber Sheds: Build Them Yourself

Timber sheds are not that difficult to make. With a little assistance you could make it yourself.

Shed plan: After getting the place completely ready figure out the shed plan. It will have the size you want the timber sheds to be, whether you want a shed with the option to add extra accessories in the course of time. You can also have the design jotted down roughly. After you have prepared the chart, start getting the necessary stuffs and tools needed to make the timber sheds. You may have certain things like: hammers, saws, nails, tapes at home. But you may have to buy the shed and the concrete slabs for the foundation. As you buy all the stuffs do not miss out buying a pair of inexpensive goggles; these will protect your eyes throughout the shed building time.

Fix the floor: Start with fixing the floor first. Use foundation blocks or concrete slabs to pave the floor. This will give the ultimate support to the timber sheds.

Fix the walls: Put up the walls with doors and windows of the timber sheds. You may choose to have one window or two.

Finally the roof: After the walls have been built focus on the roof. A lot of designs are available for the roofs.

Codes and laws: You need to get a permission to build timber sheds, this will ensure that the structure is not creating any problems for the neighbours.

You could hire someone to just help you with handling the heavy and bulky roofs. After you have set the shed up you could choose to decorate according to your creativity.
